Loss of power when accelerating

When I accelerate (especially in lower gears) I get a slight loss of power. In first and second gear with normal, fairly gentle acceleration I get two little drops in power each time. The problem is not noticeable in higher gears.

Start by replacing plugs, filters. especially fuel filter
