When driving along at 30mph the car loses power. When stopping at a junction have to rev it hard so it doesn't stall. This has only just gone through an m.o.t a couple of weeks ago

Having a MOT a couple of weeks ago is really irrelevant .You really need to get your car scanned for fault codes as there are so many possible causes it would only be guessing on solution . It could be something simple like a coil pack but a scan will confirm what the problem is .

Thank you for the advice. I will get it scanned to try and find the fault.
