Headlight buzzer packed up completely

02 berlingo, headlamp buzzer has stopped coming on when doors open, all warning lights work correctly.

It shouldn't be a problem but I keep leaving the lights on!

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Have you checked the relevant fuse? Also, the fuse board itself on Berlingos can be a weak point on older examples. This can lead to one or more circuits failing for no other reason than the board circuitry has failed. Be warned - as my brother found out - replacement of the board can come to as much as £700. If no obvious faults are found then you may be looking at the 'beginning of the end' for the fuse board.
