the engine ticks over fine until the clutch is depressed the the engine slows down and stalls. This happens sometimes when driving when at traffic lights with the clutch in or when changing gears to a lower gear and the clutch is pressed down for a few seconds. can anyone help???

poss engine management fault. have it plugged in to give a clue. do check that there is a clutch pedal switch on that model coz it is possible that it could short the crank sensor. just thinking out loud... good luck
