can anybody help me a second hand engine fitted to my van its a diesel and it wont start the chap used the old diesel pump and injectors,would i be right in saying that the injectors and pump have to be chipped so that the ecu recognizes them also if this is the case where would i get this checked.

if the pump has a coded fuel cut off solenoid and you used the old one then it should,t be a problem have you bled the system properly.undo the injector nuts and see do you get fuel up to them
