The last few days my headlights have been coming on when I have started the engine. The switch was in the off position. Giving the switch a bit of a jiggle the lights went off. Today they came on and wouldn't be jiggled off. To drive in daylight I switched to sidelights. When turning the switch to the on or off positions the headlights came on. Also today the fob switch has refused to work sometimes.Perhaps a wiring fault or is it an item that needs a reset?

sounds like the comm unit( switch unit under steering wheel) is faulty.
