2016 Citroen Berlingo gearbox rattle

Hi all I have just purchased a 2016 Citroën berlingo van and its got a bad vibration noise coming up through the gear stick my local garage says it's the gearstick ball joint but it seems to be rattling from the selector coming from the gear stick and it rattles even more in 5th gear is they anyone who may have any idea wot the problem may be

Probably wear on gear linkage / cables , usually bush kits available on the likes of e bay
