Battery charge or electrical supply faulty berlingo enterprise hdi what is the problem?

Check alternator charging rate .

Thanks had to call AA alternator knackered, not a happy bunny, 27600 miles on the clock. Strangely alternator is covered in engine oil, haven’t a clue where that came from

That’s probably what’s caused it to malfunction ,if oil has leaked into the unit.
