Citroen Nemo engine light on and in limp mode 1.4 petrol. Fault code says accelerator but complete second hand accelerator and pedal fitted after one day same code and limp mode. Complete new accelerator and pedal system fitted after a few days same code and limp mode. Any ideas's or similar experiences that can help with this? Could it be wiring or ECU any help appreciated, thank you,

More likely to be loose electrical terminals causing the issue ,check pedal and throttle and cem connections

Thank for your reply, my local garage tell me they have checked the wiring and it appears to be OK, should I look for any specific loose connection related to this or is there another passible cause? Thanks again Neil

They may have checked the wiring but it’s more the actual terminals causing a poor electrical contact ,could be at the pedal or throttle control ,may just require tightening ,the only way to check them is with a good male style terminal trying it for tight fit ,if they have done that then possibly next step would be to replace the terminals
