2003 Citroen Berlingo engin cut out

whilst driving the motor will cut out ,all lights on the cluster as well. When I restart everything o/k. this will happen quite often whilst driving. the battery / alternator is o/k. could it be the catylick converter or can you give me a idea where to look for the problem. when this happen it feels if the motor is loosing power as well.

A faulty cat could cause loss of power , but from what you describe seems more like an electrical fault .Sounds like the instrument cluster may be faulty , here is an example .
