Glow plugs relay tripping out

Help Please!!!
My Berlingo has developed an annoying problem which started off occaisionally now wont start at all.
When I turn the key to heat plugs the Relay trips out so they dont heat.
At first I thought this was the Relay so I replaced this and it was still the same.
I checked plugs with an ammeter and they were all giving off the same ampage.
I also tested the leads from the relay to the plugs and these were ok also.
Does anyone have any ideas?

I have just replaced glow plugs and still getting same problem,
Also when I apply brake my front side lights come on,
When I did have it running I could remove key and engine still ran!!!!
Got me beat so far!!!!

Replaced back right bulb and lighting ok now,,Wrong type of bulb put in before.!!!

Hi, did you source the problem. I have the same problem with my Citroen relay van. I have put a fused link in to by pass the glow plug fault but don't know where to start fault finding, any info would be helpful, thanks
