2013 Citroen Berlingo bluetooth music streaming

the bluetooth in my van works perfectly well for making and receiving calls on my galaxy s3 but when i try to stream music from the phone to the bluetooth there is no connection, i have used the menu on the car stereo to access the bluetooth settings and it states that everything is connected,i have also checked that the phone is sending the music via bluetooth but there is no music playback on the cars system,anyone had this same problem?, and does anyone know of a fix for this problem? ,its driving me nuts not being able to listen to my own music, any help would be greatly appreciated.
