2000 Citroen Berlingo ignition broken

broke key off in ignition.got replacement online but wiring colour different.Now completely knackered. Can i hotwire my van somehow and bypass ignition completely. Reluctant to spend any more money on van.

Can you get the broken key out?
'cause if you can then take your V5 owners book to Citroen as proof of ownership and they can issue you with a new working key and then use the original ignition lock.
