once car is started this message is showing RISK OF CLOGGING P FILTER ADD LEVEL LOW
Problem added: Jun 26, 2012 (11 years ago)
These have a seperate tank willed with eloys, this addative is introduced into the tank and certain cinditions will cause the engine control systems to make the exhaust run hot enough to cook the soot/particulate out of the diesel particulate filter.
Your addative tank is low/empty so the engine can't run this cleaning cycle, this'll mean the DPF will glog up and after power losses eventually it'll just not run.
Fluid,"eloys" is around £45 a liter and you'll need around 4 liters, and either the dealer or someone equiped to reset the counters after refill.
