Citroen Berlingo heater dial stuck then shorn off

Please help!
The left side dial that controls the fan randomly became very stiff for a few days and then severed off completely. A few bits of bright green plastic have fallen out but the light's still on inside. What do I need to do? Badly needing the heat and de-misting features at the moment!

have the switch replaced

the control cable may have jambed or the mixer flap may have failed causing the control knob to break.
