2001 Citroen Berlingo head lights and tail lights not working

pretty scary was driving to work last night and all lights just turned off, the indicators and horn still work so i'm thinking the Lhs switch is ok ??, it still clicks and but no side or head lights,is this a common fault or has anyone saw or heard of this before on these vans no dash lights are luminating too , any help would be apreciated
