i have a saxo vts on a p plate when you first start it from cold it wont tick over just cuts out but ok when at running temp.it has full samco hoses and pipercross filter too but has a small filter underneath the large one is it taking in too much air?

coolant temp sensor for the ecu mate needs replacing

just before doing the coolant temp sensor try cleaning the inlet system with some carb and injector spray available from all good motor factors and this will clear any blocked air ways in the inlet aswell as clean it up nice on the in side
