my car will not start and run sometimes.
when trying to start ifvdashboard gear indicator is lit then the car will start but if gear selection indicator does not light the engine will only run for 4 seconds and then cut out. after along wait sometimes days the car will start and run perfectly and all of a sudden refuse to start again untill who knows when. HELP!!!

suspect faulty engine control relay or simple bad earth connection somewhere. hope this helps
