Cluster is off, no power

2009 Chevrolet Spark 1.4 corsa utility

My wife was changing battery on Opel Corsa 1.4 utility and she switched the terminal to the opposite. the car sparked back and there was a smoke coming from either injectors or alternator. it can't switch on, no power, cluster is blank, there is nothing. Changed all relays and checked all fuses, they are intact. what could be the problem? please help

I suspect she's blown the ECU.
Try a scanner to see if there's any communication with the ECU.

Is ECU( Engine Control Unit), is it the so-called computer box? If so, there is nothing showing on the motherboard that shows that it has been blown off.

Thank you Guys, I have manage to solve the problem. if I may share the experience with you, by switching the terminals, the power blew off the alternator because it always carries power. it did not affect the ECU!
