2008 Chevrolet Matiz engine just stops

Was in the traffic and the radio went off all warning lights came on and the engine stopped. A motorist stopped and kindly restarted with jump leads. Went fine for a day then the same thing happened.luckily at home this time. Put new battery in started and everything was sweet 2 days later whilst driving put the wipers on which worked very slowly all the warning lights flashed up and the car died again.
Any ideas anyone pretty please... ???
