2010 Chevrolet Matiz throttle problem

The revs are very slow indeed to come off when changing gear, the car has only done 18,000 miles and has been checked at Chevrolet dealership who found no fault with diagnostic tests, and commented it was a design fault with this model. I have spoken to at least three owners of the same model Matiz and none have the same problem as mine, I would welcome any suggestions please.

Could check throttle body is not sticking and needing cleaned .

Are the revs slow to come off when only operating the throttle ie car in neutral, not moving and dabbing the pedal?
