2005 Chevrolet Kalos abs lights on dash keep coming on at very slow gentle braking,but not at fast braking

Hi my cousins car ia a chevy,Kalos 1.6 sx 2005, the abs light keeps coming on when reversing or braking at a very low speed ,even at 10 miles ph,but when he has had to brake hard the warning light stays off,? he has had new brake pads fitted to the front and cleaned ,made no difference,I have not got a clue with abs brake set up,can anyone help please thanks tony

simply have abs codes read this will point you towards problem,report back to site

Abs senor normally the drivers front ive changed a few on that corner but do have the abs rings checked for cracking causing the abs senor to see a wide gap and think your skidding
