Key fob not working

I have changed the battery and the will not lock or unlock with fob only key

Im not taking the P here but did this myself !!!! 1 try your spare key ( if you have one !! ) if it works OK try turning the new battery you fitted around ! I did this myself once ( visited many dealers for advise because I did both my keys and nothing worked! ) and just tried one evening and bingo it all started working as should !!! I had simply put battery in the wrong way around , ( I felt a complete idiot and kept my mouth shut regards the family !! ) worth a try , good luck just trying to help regards Tony
