Intermittent start problem

intermittent start problem just cranks but have no power to pump and possibly no spark, strange thing is electric windows wont worn when it happens soon as they work car will start. normally if you turn the key to crank it fixes itself but yesterday bat went flat so ad to get rac out and with the starter pack eventually got it started it tends to fix itself if left long enough.also i ad alarm an immobiliser removed after garage said that was problem,it can be fine for 3 weeks then it will do it for a week making it impossible to use an no one seems to have an answer hope you can help cheers rick

all i can suggest is that you remove the electrical connectors one at a time and spray wd40 or a smear of grease in to the connector and reconnect the plug do this on all of them that you can see and see how you go from there i think doing this will resolve your problem this includes under the bonnet and in the car connectors that you can see

i would replace engine control relay and earth straps on the chassis legs to engine mounts. a dodgy connection on these earths cause an all mighty headache for the tekkie and makes the car behave very badly. hope this helps
