2000 BMW 5 Series heater controls not working.

the heater temperature controls will not produce anything but full heat no matter what temperature the control is set to.

Heater control valve might be cause of fault , see picture here ,but other possibilities

Sorry , link does not appear to work . It was just to show you what the control valve looks like for checking .
