Hi Guys
New to your forum, hope you can help,

Problem with my daugters car,I used the Peake R5-fcx3 tool to check out any fault codes and to reset herinspection and oil lights, now when I try tostart the car all I get is a clunking noise, and the damn thing wont turn over, as if the immobiliser or something is preventing the car from doing any else, The is converted to lpg, but have tried pulling the fuses tosee if that anything to do with the problem, have also tried disconnecting the battery for a while. all to no avail, can anyone suggest where to start looking next.

Have you checked the charge in the battery, i'd start there because once they get so low they will just click once and then nothing.
If that comes to no result then check for head gasket, depending on how long its been sat not started then water may have ingressed into one or two of the cylinders and caused it to hydraulic itself.
hope this helps

If the battery has got charge in it and its still just clicking, sounds more like a starter motor problem then head gasket, it would at least crank over if the head gasket was gone. Trying hitting the starter motor with an hammer to free it up, or if you cant access it, put the car in 5th gear with the clutch up and rock it back and forward to free the starter. Hope this helps.
