when i put the washers on,i get a small trickle not strong enough to reach the screen

Make sure there are no leaks from any hoses but some have filter in washer bottle at pump which becomes partially blocked with soap / gunge , restricting flow . Could check and clear if needed , but could also be a weak pump .
