i have a bmw 325i wich cuts out wen revved between one and two thousand revs its usualy on the second start up ov the day and wen it cuts out tha amber oil warning light comes on oil level ok and its ok on high revs

when you say it cuts out are you driving it or is it stationary, if the oil light is coming on and then it cuts out it could be its shutting the engine down because of a possible oil pressure issue, could be a faulty oil switch
