I have fitted some genuine xenon headlights to my 325ci when i start the car they flicker why is this ?

they are just warming up and reseting

I have a BMW 3 Series hatchback, P Reg. Ive just fitted HB3 dip lights as the left wasnt working, however with the new bulbs the still isnt working, why is that? On the web it states that the dips are HB4 and the mains are HB3 however in my car they are the other way round and were previously working. As you can see i thought the bulb had gone but now im thinking its a connection.... Please help!
