2000 BMW 3 Series oil pressure light

engine runs and sounds perfect but after starting the engine when its been running for approx 15 seconds the oil pressure light comes on for about 10 seconds and then goes off oil level is spot on and as i said the engine runs and sounds perfect

If oil and filter haven't been changed for a while , might be worth doing , using a good brand oil . Could also check / replace oil pressure switch if problem persists .
