Red Electric steering warning light!!
This Warning light has show on my dash yesterday.Its frighten me as the car steers fine and the engine starts goes as it should.
The manual says " Contact BMW Service Urgently!! The engine can no longer be started. If applicable, do not switch off your engine" This sounds serious. The car is diesel and has only done 12k miles in 3 years.
What has gone wrong?

With that message you will have to get it checked out by BMW garage asap or give them a phone first for advice .
