Alarm not arming via fob

i have just bought this vehicle and niether of the alarm fobs will arm my alarm i have switched the alarm on as it had been switched of due to a flat batt in storage, i have checked all fuses and have test for power at the alarm unit all are good can anyone let me know how to get this working please ??
