2002 BMW 3 Series driver door elect window

Electric window is palying up and seems to "twisat as it slides up and therefore gets stuck - I ve had a look inside but the airbag is in the way of me trying to effect a repair. how do I discount or remove from door without setting the bags off. Many thanks

it sounds like the window channel rubber is twisted,you need to remove the door trim and remove the window glass from regulator and realign making sure everything is straight

With the concern about the airbag and possibilty of setting it off / introducing faults to circuit , would suggest leaving repair to garage b/shop . Could maybe get it fixed at same time as your other fault with engine ?
