cant wont start put scanner on code 4b90 rail pressure at cranking too low has anybody come across this thanks in advance

is there any sensors on the fuel rail that could be faulty ie sending the wrong info back to the ecu hence the car not starting

Check low pressure pump (under back seat right hand side) Then check high pressure pump under plastic cover left side under car next to gearbox.The filter is also here - replace it. This pump should supply 3 bars +. If no joy remove plugs from injectors-loosen return pipes from top of injectors. Crank and observe. No diesel should come out of injectors. If it does replace injectors. If vehicle is over 100000kms-replace anyway. Hope this helps.
