2004 BMW 3 Series climate control

Hello.
I have an 04 BMW 330d with the automatic climate control. At present the temperature (being blown out of the vents) is alternating between between hot and cold for about 10 mins at a time regardless of what the temperature it is set at. Also the outside temperature displayed on the dash computer always varys between about -50c and +50c all the time (gets very annoying when the freezing point alarm keeps going off). It could be that the fault is connected??
Any suggestions on a fix welcome and any advice much appreciated.

with this sort of fault i would only say to you is take it to the dealers and have them look over it and at least the job will have some warranty for the replacement parts if needed to repair the problems you are expierencing

Unfortunately its done 92,000 miles and 4 years old so way out of warranty!! Will try and find an independant BMW specialist and see if they can help. Can anyone recommend a good one in the SW London area?
