when i press any of the buttons on the center control to put the hot air or cold or to demist the windscreen nothing happens it just kicks in when it wants to if it doses at all .

all i can say to that is that you have a bad connection on the back of the switch or you have worn out switches have a look on the back of the switches to see that they are properly connected before you order new switches

Does the vehicle have electronic climate control or ordinary heater controls
