2002 BMW 3 Series alarm

to find out if your car has a alarm all i can say is set the alarm and make it go off and that way you will also be able to locate where it is if it has one

How do you set the alarm and make it go off?

If it has an alarm fitted, which i believe it should have on this model, have a look for the presence of interior monitoring sensors, ie on the B pillars. Set the alarm with the drivers window open, wait for at least one minute and wave your arm inside the car, if this does not set off the alarm simply reach in through the window and turn on the ignition

If you have no remote then it will normally arm/disarm off the door lock

my 3 series bmw 96 p reg has a problem with alarm,the remote has stopped working(have put new battery in)now the hazards stay on 4 a while even when i drive off,and the red led inside flash,s really fast,any input gratefully received,Trev

I have problem with alaram, it goes off by it self, usually happens at day time not sure its to do with weather (heat) or something else..
its rather annoying wen it goes off around 10am n i have to jump out of my bed to switch it off. Any1 Y it does that n how can it be fix it?
