Noise coming from rear when driving worse when above 40 miles an hour. Recent 30 min drive wheel hot air and burning smell
Diff was replaced 12 months ago due to noise from rear passenger side

Could be sticking rear brake and possibly rear wheel bearing gone also .

Also thinking brake sticking could be your issue
