Front seat broken

The front drivers seat will not remain in the upright position.it has just failed the mot due to this any idea how to fix it and where to get the parts

replace the seat sounds like the only option go on the web and look up a website called www.partsgateway.co.uk give them all the info required for them to get hold of the right part for you and they will email you back with price failing that have a look on ebay

have a look under the seat you usually find that when seats go faulty either the welds break or bolts fall out which usually end up under the seat or trapped in the runners you may find this is an easy repair,it may be easier to remove seat to look at it usually held in with 4 bolts you may have to slide the seat backwards and forwards to get on the bolts
