How do you know it's on it's way out ? is it not holding pressure or leaking ? Is it a genuine BMW part or a cheap import part your fitting ?

yes its a genuine bmw part and its not holding pressure or it might be leaking,i had previously fitted 2 master cylinders that were not genuine parts and when they never lasted more than 6 months each so about 8 or so months ago i got the genuine part fitted, now the same problem has started with this one

Is the clutch slave cyl ok? Is the clutch heavy?
Answered Jun 23, 2013 (10 years ago)
yes slave fine the clutch may be a bit heavy the bite is so far down i cant get it into gear now
Answered Jun 23, 2013 (10 years ago)
Try bleeding the clutch.Could be the clutch assembly itself that is knackered and needing replaced.
