my alarm go,s off with just a slight bit of wind how do I reset so it does not do this but is still alarmed

if its a factory fit alarm i am not sure you can.Aftermarket units tend to have an adjuster on the alarm unit itself. worth looking at unit though to see if you can

you could always try here http://www.bmwland.co.uk/ to see if others have the same fault and what resolves it.

Try closing the air vents in car and see if it helps .May be the interior sensor is too sensitive .

Spoke to a friend / garage owner who deals with a lot of Beemers and he said on some cars you can deactivate the motion detector if needed .

He has been back on to me again and says if you lock the car , wait a second and push the button once more this deactivates the motion detector .Again this might not apply to your year or model but you could try it and see if you think it's worth a go .
