car is verry slow on accelerating its like driving a 1.5 and mine is a 1900cc.its verry low on power

Could try getting the car scanned to see if any faults show up. Or maybe have a compression test done first as this maybe a cheaper option...

had the car checked and been told that engine and gearbox is fine must me a sensor that need's changing.what do you think?is this logical?

Try changing the mass air flow sensor on the air intake.

If engine flat , worth checking timing .

cleaned the mass air sensor but still the same do you think it could be the knock sensor?

had the mass sensor cheked and was fine do you think it could be bad spark plugs?
