Had driven the car for about 20 miles when it slowed down and stopped.Called the AA who towed me home as they could not find the problem.
It will start, be on tickover for about 5 seconds but when you increase the revs it cuts out and will not start again until you take a plug out and then it will tick over (minus the plug).

check exhaust is not blocking,run the car and see how much air is coming out of tail pipe also when revving up listen to see if it is back pressuring

my wife car is very same when pulling away from cold car doesnt pick up speed and want to drop speed as if fuel is not geting to it if you leave car ticking over for 5 mins then drive she is ok no problems all day etc only when cold this happens any advise on this plz iam not mechinc etc just a guy asking

ANY ONE KNOW HOW TO CHECK THE CAM SHAFT POSITIONING SENSOR AND THE CRANK SHAFT SENSOR?
