2007 Audi S3 p0300   random multiple cylinder misfires

Year: 2007
Variant: 2.0 tfsi

Engine management light constantly on. Codes read as followed :
P0300   random multiple cylinder misfires

P0303 cylinder 3 misfire detected

P0304 cylinder 4 misfire detected

P0302 cylinder 2 misfire detected

P0301 cylinder 1 misfire detected.


Car is showing no obvious signs of misfiring. Idling fine, no loss of power ect.
Engine management light can intermittently start to flash on and off ( approx for about 5 seconds), and then go back to solid, when car is DEcellerating from around 90mph and around 4000 rpm.

On audi forums stating poss spark plugs/coil packs, but just need a bit of advice or any other suggestions please. Thanks

Certainly renew the plugs,
But also check the multiplug connection to the coil pack for bad connections in the terminals.

Don't know what mileage you have on car , but changing the plugs and coil packs certainly a good idea .
