Hi, I hope someone can help.
my turbo on my car blow after 7 months of standing, have replaced with a reconditioned turdo on Saturday took it out for test drive and the new turbo is not cutting in. We have double checked that none of the pipes were blocked.
Any advice would be great.

check the waste gate on the turbo is opening and closing propperly this is attached to the actuator as if this is not closing then there is the problem as the turbo wont produce any pressure because it is going straight out of the exhaust instead of going back through the engine

this is in the wrong section all audi quattro turbos have external wastegates
what model car do you have
this is surely for the ur quattro as its the only quattro without a designated number/numbers.
