Audi Q3 spring coiling under drivers seat

I was driving along at very slow speed and we heard something like a coil twang from under the drivers side. The car works/handles fine and there is no noise of a rattle when you drive around at either high speeds or slowly, or even round corners. The underside of the vehicle is covered in a guard sheet so we can't have a decent look up. Any ideas????
