Lack of power

2003 Audi A4 1.8t
Car: Audi A4
Year: 2003
Variant: 1.8t
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
i have a couple of questions,i have had the car serviced and pluged into a diagnostic machine,no fault codes were found, would a damaged coil pack cause the car to lack power, also would you expect the code reader to find that problem or a problem like a air leak.

Yes a coil pack could cause lack of power, there could be a code logged for an air leak associated issue that a sensor has logged in the control module .

seems most likely a faulty sensor, cant really see glow pack causing the problem, but then again without practically assesing the car couldnt say for sure

It's a coil pack , not a "glow " pack .
