When car is idling the revs drop dramatically then come back up to normal without cutting out, also the car seams down on power not very responsive.
Can anyone shed ant light on these problems
Car is a 1.8t Audi cabriolet it's only down 70k

Hi, it could be a 101 things, such as idle control valve, lamba sensor, etc etc., but at a guess and because performance has droped off try renewing the fuel filter (unless you no its been done)
Other than that you may have to take it in to get a fault code reading.
