2004 Audi A2 passenger side rear side doesn't fold down

I recently discovered that the rear seat on my Audi A2 doesn't fold down. The plastic lever/catch seems to have disconnected from the seat locking mechanism.
Does anyone know how to fix this or will I need to take the car in to Audi?

I believe this is a known problem with the A2 rear seats - there is some information on it over at the A2 owners club forum.
The fix sounds very tricky - you basically need to lift the locking bolt out of the locking plate to release the seat. Once it's released you need to re-align the handle with the locking mechanism.
Unless you're very handy with the spanners and have a lot of patience I'd get it booked in.

I tried for ages to fix this and gave up in the end. I took it along to my local Audi dealership and they replaced the entire seat mechanism, under warranty aswell.
