Slight thumping sound when pressing accelerator pedal

Check engine / transmission mountings .

Thank you very much. I’ve only had the car a day so contacted the previous owner who said it could be the EGR valve. I don’t know much to do with taking things apart so I’ll book it in to the garage. Suggestions to tell them what other owner think appreciated.

EGR valve should not cause thumping , with just buying the car , good idea to get it checked out
